Endura T Plunger
Endura T Plunger is produced using high-strength hot work steel.
Its cooling channel shape has been specially designed for optimal cooling during the injection process.
Endura T Plunger is available in 3 versions to best suit the various types of casting processes and applications.
Endura T: Solid steel plunger with thread lock system
Endura T-R: Steel ring plunger with thread lock system and a replaceable frontal ring
Endura T-RS: Steel ring plunger with thread lock system, one replaceable frontal ring, and one replaceable spring bush (back ring)

Advantages over conventional plunger
Cycle time reduction
Compared with a conventionally made plunger, the cooling arrangement is optimized, resulting in more efficient and homogenous cooling and solidification of the biscuit.
Assembly and removal of the ring are straightforward and can be done directly on the machine, avoiding any waste of time.
Vacuum and gliding effect
Endura T-RS version includes a spring bush (back ring) which has been specially designed for vacuum systems.
Made with softer steel, the spring bush slides easily and doesn’t damage the inner surface of the sleeve.

MATERIAL
Endura T plungers are made using high-strength steel alloy. The alloy has a high tensile strength and 80% higher thermal conductivity than a 1.2344 / H13 hot work tool steel.
